Amazonite pendant

Exquisite amazonite stone is set in fine and 925 sterling silver and mounted on a sweeping  embellishment with hidden attachment to a glistening mirror box chain. This stunning turquoise gemstone gets its name due to its similarity with the Amazon River, though it has never been found there! The stone of the female warrior, it was used by the Amazonians who adorned their shields with the gemstone, believing it added extra protection. Amazonite is relatively rare, and uniquely streaked with delicate lines of white quartz, giving it an alluring subtle sparkle. 
 
This pendant is supplied with a sterling silver curb chain, and is branded with The Silver Bird maker's mark and 925 quality stamp.
